Throughout most of human existence, parents have cared for their babies hygienically without diapers. In many cultures, mothers still know how to tune into their infants to keep them clean and comfortable. This interactive talk will cover:

• The benefits of Natural Infant Hygiene

• Detailed, practical how-to info and tips

• Maternal intuition, bonding, and the close communication that results from this practice

• Toilet training “myths” and historical, cross-cultural and environmental perspectives

This talk is geared toward expectant couples and parents of babies up to one year. It will also appeal to midwives and pediatric healthcare providers, as well as anyone who ever wondered if there was a better way for infants, parents and the environment than long-term diapering.
